About Jackie

Jackie's
Story
I grew up in Texas, where my love of horses and the wide, open spaces took root early. I spent most of my days outdoors, without realizing at the time just how healing that connection to nature would be. It’s only now, looking back, that I see how profoundly it shaped the direction of my life.
At 14, everything changed when I moved to England with my mom. That experience taught me what it means to start over, to feel unmoored, and to slowly find your way back to yourself.
In the years that followed, I trained and qualified as an integrative psychotherapist in the UK, specializing in somatic parts work and trauma-informed practice. I’ve worked with both children and adults through some of life’s most complex and tender moments. Since 2017, my work has been grounded in deep listening, compassion, and helping people make sense of their inner world, offering space for both pain and possibility.
When my dad passed away suddenly in 2021, everything shifted again. It was a painful, defining moment, and it made one thing crystal clear: life is short, and it was time to start listening to that quiet knowing I’d been carrying for years.
That knowing led me back to the horses.
In 2024, I traveled to California to train with the Center for Equus Coaching, completing their Level 2 ICF-accredited program. What I found was profound. The presence of a horse can reflect our truth with more clarity and honesty than anything I’ve ever experienced, in all my years and all my training as a psychotherapist.
Whether we’re in conversation or standing quietly with a horse, the work is about slowing down, getting honest, and allowing your own truth to emerge.

While I now focus on life and Equus coaching, I continue to draw on my background as a psychotherapist and can integrate therapeutic tools and trauma-informed approaches into sessions when needed.
Sessions are offered 1:1 online for life coaching and in-person Equus Coaching in the heart of West Cheshire, supporting people to reconnect with themselves, rewrite old narratives, and step into a more grounded, authentic way of being.
I also offer Equus Coaching as part of a bespoke experience for events and retreats in Texas and California, working with horses on-site to create powerful, embodied experiences for your guests. If you’re planning a retreat or transformational gathering, I’d love to discuss how we can tailor this work to meet your needs.
